NUMB-RS

Here is my video NUMB-RS, an echo of my heart that will reach yours, I hope 🙂

It’s not because
we don’t look alike
we don’t dress alike
we don’t speak the same language
not because
we don’t express our faith the same way
or pray the same God
that we don’t all feel fear
that we don’t all feel loss
that we don’t all have hope

It’s not because
something is brutally new
not because
it’s happening to people
who we recognize as “us”
that they suffer in a greater way
than the ones
we recognize as “them”

It’s not because
those ones have been through it all
for years
decades
sometimes a lifetime
that they got used to fear
that they got used to loss
that they lost all hope
