I’ve been there too! Knowing I don’t like it when ppl touch my hair… I think it’s more admiration and appreciation when it’s a natural to another natural… Like, “Girl, I understand the struggle” type thing. And it’s gorgeous! Lol
I totally understand. It makes me feel uncomfortable too. Although I do try to understand that sometimes it’s just out of curiosity. What happened with the 4C goddess definitely taught me that π
Thank you! I have thought about it many times π I think that because 1- it would be a lot of work and investment and 2- they are already available online for free so I’m not 100% sure people would be interested in buying it, I haven’t find enough motivation yet? But maybe I will ^_^
For what it’s worth, I’ve totally bought books from comic artists who release their work online, because I consider it a “thank you” for entertaining me for free all that time. Run a kickstarter so you don’t have to front everything yourself, I bet you’ll get the funds in no time!
I don’t mind so much when it’s other natural girls as we have some shared experiences as “people of highly textured hair and colour” but it’s a rage inducing micro-aggression and boundary cross when it’s ‘others’

I have shoulder length 4C hair, and I had someone touch my hair without asking. I didn’t get angry but it made me feel uncomfortable.
Love your comics. Have you considered putting them all together as a book? I’d buy it. π
