Good hair is HEALTHY hair, no matter the texture. You may have to use different tools, techniques or products than someone else, but once you find out what your hair likes, it becomes SO much easier to manage. You get into a routine, understand what it means when your hair acts a certain way and it becomes like muscle memory. I’m a 3c/4a, ultra low porosity and it took me almost TEN years to figure out how to get my hair moisturized enough to not be a total frizzball all the time. Mind you, I started going natural before it became really popular (thank God!), and there was a huge lack of products and information compared to now. Did I consider chemicals again or just cutting it out of frustration? Yes, several times, but I stuck with it because I knew that once I learned how to take care of my hair, I would have that knowledge for life.
Yo I’m whiter than a polar bear but whenever I google what to do with my hair (which is undeniably a mountain of frizz, curl, and bush) with those search terms all the tips are for natural hair. Any ideas?
