Definitely could use one of those!
There are many reasons why you would try to cope with a toxic person.
It can be because of you. You want to be loved. You don’t want to be abandoned. You desperately need someone’s attention.
It can be because of that very person. You feel sorry for them. You want to help them. You don’t want to turn your back on them.
Or it can be because of someone else that you deeply care about. The toxic person might be related to them and you don’t want to hurt the person you love by trying to avoid the toxic human.
Well none of these reasons are good reasons.
Get rid of toxic people as soon as you realize that the only thing they bring into your life (and generally in other people’s lives as well) is anxiety, sadness or anger. Protect yourself from that negativity as quickly as you can, and pick your friends and battles on a higher level. A level where your heart and mind are at peace, and where you sky is blue with no dark threatening clouds on the horizon. This is your only ship. This is your only sea. Let that crap sink into the ocean and into oblivion and pursue your journey.
