Hello TallnCurly! I read somewhere that your mother had straight hair, correct? My dad had straight and my mother had curly. Instead of getting one or the other, however, I got both. My hair is ‘wavy’, with ALL of the downsides.
It it’s not brushed it looked like a rat’s nest. (S)
If it’s brushed it looks like I put a fork in a light socket (C)
It’s super fine and breakable (S)
It’s think in amount (C)
While I don’t have to shower every day I need to shower every four days, and showers take up to two hours depending on how much I care about my hair at the moment. After using a billion products and brushing it out it settles into a nice wave, but I either have to use curly products or straight products, which sucks because I’m not really either.
I am also tall, not as tall as you but tall enough that I have experienced a fraction of what you deal with daily. I can confidently saw it sucks but everyone has height struggles. Everyone has hair struggles. Everyone should stop telling people to change themselves because we wear those struggles proudly while they hide theirs.
Thanks you to anyone who read that whole thing, I just wanted to vent.
Well you’re welcome to vent on my blog, that’s what I spend my time doing here lol
Yes, my mother has straight and silky hair. My father has black hair. I got a mix so I had to learn to deal with it alone. And I, too, spend way too much time in the shower. But that’s the amount of love my hair needs to be pretty and happy so. 😉
“we wear those struggles proudly while they hide theirs.” YES. Love this 🙂

It’s like that because in the movies, the sex isn’t as lit as it is in real life 😀
