OMG. I deal with this all the time. Just because I am tall doesn’t mean that I want to be with every tall man that I see. I still have preferences and standards like every other girl. UGH!!
Nope. Not implying that a girl must date a man taller than herself at all. This is just an illustration showing what every tall girl who is single hears very often from her shorter female friends who think that she’s desperate to meet any man as long as he’s taller than her…. I’m actually saying exactly the opposite of what you’re saying, meaning that actually, in the end, size does not matter at all. As a matter of fact, my husband is not taller than me. 🙂
I can’t tell you how many times someone has said that to me about a guy. “Oh, you two would be such a great couple! You’re both tall!” The best one was a guy I used to work with. Everyone wanted me to date him because he was tall (he was also unattractive, but beggars can’t be choosers, right?), and then a few years later I saw his picture in the paper because he had been arrested for hitting his girlfriend. Looks like I missed out on a real winner there.
