I couldn’t have summarized my hair experience any better, i’ve had my hair thinned, my scalp burnt( bad Keratin), and my curls destroyed it’s been 4 years and i’m still trying to get my curls back. so thank you for showing me i’m not alone 😀

It’s only hair but you act like you’ve been caught watching p0rn!” I looked at him, sheepishly,”Well, it IS! We call it hair p0rn.”

I’ve had my hair completely ruined by hair salonists, and growing up being the only one with curly big thick hair in my family, no one knew how to take care of it. So it was alllllll trial by error. One salonist almost butchered my hair with those thinning hair scissors…..nightmare…..:(
I’ve had the thinning scissors episode too… XO It’s been 4 years now and I’m still waiting for the hair on top of my head to reach the others and recover from it. Can a hairdresser be prosecuted ?
They should be. She was a hispanic lady, but she had sleek pin straight hair, I don’t generally trust salonists anymore, but if I do go back they better have curly hair on their damn head. I didn’t know any better, my hair is 3A on a good day, and 3B when its got its own mind. But my hair is wide and big like your cartoon, the strands are thick and course, thanks to naturallycurly.com I finally learned some tips on how to manage it. I gave all my shampoos, my flatiron, my products with silicones and other crap all to my sister,brothers,and friends. I literally shoved a bag and said HERE, take this s**t. My family is mixed hispanics, and european. But SOMEHOW someone above thought it’d be funny to make me the only one in the family with this hair. My mom gave me triangle heads all day errrday, and she had this thing about farrah faucets feathered hair style with billowy bangs similar to taylor swifts nowadays, so she tried doing that crap one me, you know when you try styling Barbie’s hair, but her s**t sticks straight out and looks blunt cut and stupid, and the layers look choppy? That was me.
Naturally Curly Saved my life. I finally got the much needed hair cut after 10 years, and now I don’t put it in a bun every day! It’s nice to read your comics! Sometimes I forget I’m not alone!
I love having curly hair in all this rainy weather because I can walk around without an umbrella and I don’t look like a rat when I walk inside like girls with straight hair 🙂
