I understand this haha. I’m from Kenya in Africa and i use public transportation a lot but sometimes the spaces between one chair and another in some buses (we call buses matatu) can be very small. It gets even more annoying if you are seated next to a tall guy and he decides to sit with his legs apart and you get squeezed in the corner hoping there wont be any road bumps. So i have to first check if the spaces between the chairs is enough before settling in a seat.
I tend to limp really dramatically when I board a plane – so then when they ask me how tall I am and tell them 6’5 – flight attendants think my limp is because of my height and sometimes, oh sometimes they upgrade me to economy plus. My goal is to get to business or first class- then we’re really making moves.
Well please tell me if you make it ! I always try to moan and to look pitiful when I get on a plane but it seems like I’m not tall enough for them to show mercy !! I even tried the economy class syndrome story several times but it never worked I feel so desperate

I fly Jet Blue when I can and pay for the ‘extra leg room’ seats. It keeps me from losing my sanity over an ocean somewhere.

I’ve never flown anywhere but that is pretty much exactly how I imagine it!
Well it depends on your height, 5’5″ and under people usually don’t complain that much 😉
Oh, I’m just a measly 6′. People always ask if I’m afraid of heights and I tell them I’ve never been up high enough to know. 🙂
