Everyone has a genetically set hair length. Each individual hair grows for a few years, reaches the end of it’s genetically-determined life span, and then falls out. So, due to how fast your hair grows, and for how many years it grows in its lifespan, each person has a predetermined possible hair length. For some, that is past their hips or more. For some, it’s just past the collarbones. And for some, it’s 3, 5 inches from the boobs. 🙂
